Mark Orr

Mark Orr currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of GROWMARK, Inc. and has more than
three decades of System experience. Under his leadership, GROWMARK continues to thrive,
innovating in supply chain management, agronomy, and technology to better serve its member-owners and improve the agricultural landscape.
Mark earned his Bachelor of Science in Agri-Business from Illinois State University in 1990.
He began his career within the GROWMARK System as an FS Agri-Finance intern, then
progressed to assistant controller at Schuyler-Brown FS. His roles expanded to include
controller for Western FS and Ag-Land FS, and then general manager for Piatt County Service
Company. Mark’s leadership continued to evolve as he was named the general manager for Ag
View FS and became the managing partner for Northern Grain Marketing. His service as
GROWMARK Region Vice President, Member Services, until his appointment as Vice President,
Agronomy, further solidified his position within the company.
Mark Orr’s influence extends beyond GROWMARK, Inc. He currently serves as the chairman of
The Fertilizer Institute (TFI) board, a member of the National Council of Farmer Cooperatives’
(NCFC) executive council, a member of the Graduate Institute of Cooperative Leadership’s
(GICL) executive committee, and a member of the Big River Resources board. These roles
underscore his leadership, dedication, and influence in the agricultural industry.
Mark and his wife Laura have three children and reside in Bloomington, Illinois.
Mark’s leadership continues to inspire many within the agricultural community, positioning
GROWMARK, Inc. as a forward-thinking cooperative committed to enhancing the livelihoods of
its member-owners and contributing to the overall sustainability of agriculture.
