Haley Siergiej serves as the Director of Nutrients for Life, overseeing the FERT Foundation’s educational program. Since 2012, she has been involved with Nutrients for Life, initially as an Illinois Regional Representative, connecting educators and industry professionals with resources that emphasize the vital role of fertilizer in food production.
Haley’s passion for agriculture stems from her upbringing on a farm, which inspires her to share its importance with diverse audiences. Before her current role, she served as the Director of Ag Literacy and Public Relations at the Cook County Farm Bureau and worked on a mobile educational tour sponsored by Archer Daniels Midland (ADM). She earned her degree in Agricultural Education and Communications with a specialization in news-editorial from the University of Illinois.
An active leader in the agriculture community, Haley serves on the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences Advisory Board and the Illinois Council for Agriculture Education (ILCAE). She is also a graduate of the Illinois Agricultural Leadership Program.
