Randy Strutz

Randy Strutz is President of Quality Carriers, the largest bulk chemical trucking carrier in North America. Randy has been in logistics for 20+ years after a career in accounting and manufacturing, spending 15 years in the Columbus, OH area before moving to Tampa. He is an adjunct professor in the Masters program at Franklin University, and he holds a MBA from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree from Butler University. He is also the proud father of adult quadruplet sons.

Grant Strom

Grant Strom is a partner in Strom Family Farms located in Dahinda, Illinois. Grant raises corn, soybeans, hay and beef cattle on a 6,000 acre farm along with his parents Doug and Marsha, and his sister Joanie. He also is co-owner of Strom Farms Trucking LLC and co-owns and manages a grain storage and drying facility. Grant is responsible for the majority of input purchasing, agronomic decisions, operations management and marketing. The Strom family is also a dealer for Holganix, a plant pro-biotic/biological that contains over 800 species of microorganisms to promote soil health. In addition, Strom Family Farms is an investor in Interpose Ag LLC, a fertilizer start-up that focuses on manufacturing high quality, liquid fertilizers for agriculture use. Grant earned his B.S. in Farm and Financial Management from the University of Illinois in 2003 and graduated from the Illinois Agriculture Leadership Program in 2010. He has served and volunteered for various organizations, including the Farm Bureau, 4-H, FFA, commodity groups and was a 2017 4R Advocate for the The Fertilizer Institute. He resides in Elmwood, Illinois with his wife Kristen and their 3 children.

Karl Stenerson

Karl joined Elevar in 2023 to lead Elevar Market Analytics (EMA), the group’s fertilizer market analysis business. At EMA, Karl works closely with clients, mainly US retailers, on their strategies in the fertilizer markets with the aim of mitigating risk and optimizing margins. Prior to joining Elevar, Karl spent 3 years in WinField United’s Crop Nutrient business as the Director of Market Intelligence. In this role, Karl managed a team focused on market analysis and led communications with internal and external stakeholders including to support strategic procurement decisions and risk management strategies for WinField’s business and its retail members. Before that, Karl worked for 4 years at Fertecon, now a part of S&P Global, where he did reporting, analysis, and forecasting on multiple fertilizer commodities for an array of subscription-based clientele spanning the globe. Karl graduated from Minnesota State Mankato with a bachelor’s degrees in economics and mathematics, graduating as a member of the Dean’s List and National Honor Society.

Neil Chatterjee

Neil Chatterjee is a former Commissioner and Chairman of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), and has deep ties in Washington and across the industry, with extensive experience across the energy landscape both domestically and internationally. He is respected for his ability to strike compromise and work with a wide variety of stakeholders.

In his time on the Hill and at FERC, Neil built a reputation as a bipartisan operator who builds alliances and cuts through red tape with an eye on always promoting innovation. Jennifer Armstrong

As Director of Government Relations at Waterways Council, Inc., Jen Armstrong advocates for a modern national system of inland waterways infrastructure and ports. Prior to joining WCI she was the Director of Navigation Policy and Legislation at the American Association of Port Authorities. Jen is a subject matter expert in Congressional appropriations and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Civil Works program. Jen has served as clerk and staff director of the U.S. Senate Energy and Water Development Appropriations subcommittee which provided over $53 billion to the Department of Energy, the Corps of Engineers, the Bureau of Reclamation and other independent agencies. Prior to the Senate, Jen was with the Corps of Engineers as a water resources planner, project manager, and government affairs liaison specializing in coastal storm damage reduction, ecosystem restoration, and navigation.

Mason Roberts

Mason Roberts is a peanut, cotton, and cattle farmer from Sylvester, Ga. He and his wife, Haley, have two children, Hudson (4), and Emma (2). Roberts is a 4th generation farmer working daily alongside his father, Michael, and brother, Chase. He is one of the two 2024 TFI 4R Advocates and thoroughly enjoys being able to advocate for peers and fellow farmers thus far and looks forward to continuing to do so in the future. Outside of farming he enjoys serving in his church, camping with his family, and any form of hunting you can imagine, especially deer and dove. Roberts and his brother were the 2023 Young Farmers of the year for their county and recognized as such in the Georgia Peanut Festival Parade in Sylvester, Ga. Going forward Roberts aspires to be Georgia’s Peanut Farmer of the year.
