Exploring the Fertilizer Industry’s Economic Impact 

In 2024 The Fertilizer Institute commissioned a study to gain a better understanding of the broader reach that the fertilizer supply chain has in the overall U.S. economy. The study revealed that the fertilizer industry contributed to roughly $139 billion in total economic output, over $69 billion in GDP, and helped to support nearly 480,000 jobs in the U.S. Join us as we discuss the national, state and congressional district level results of the study and some of the ways the tool can be utilized.
